Artist Linda C Smith creates unique, one-of-a-kind contemporary indoor mosaic fine art pieces for private collectors, home decor and corporate settings. Services include design, creative work and when appropriate, liaison with fine art installation contractors. Works can be very small, as in a 12"x12" size to very large, even wall-size. Custom mosaics are produced in the artist's studio on supports for independent hanging or on panels for installation.
Linda specializes in tiny tessarae - hand-made, hand-glazed Moroccan tiles. She also works in a variety of other high-quality tessarae including Orsoni Smalti. She works with the client, or client representative, to realize the client's vision in tandem with her own unique abstract, contemporary artistic vision.
Fees for custom work are determined by a combination of size, tessarae [materials], complexity of design, schedule and lead time and any liaison work.
